"Walking With Our Sisters" is a Commemorative Art Installation for Missing and
Murdered Women of Canada and the United States. In Canada, it is estimated
that 600 + native women have gone missing or have been murdered in the last
20 years.  Many have vanished without a trace with little to no concern paid by
the media, the general public or politicians..

Over 1700 Moccasin vamps (tops) have been created by caring and concerned
people to create on large collaborative art piece that will be installed for the
public in various galleries.
This entire project is being done WITHOUT
government funding and is being run by volunteers. There are no paid positions.
We are relying on the power of our collective will to create positive change through
this project.

At Mother Earth Essentials, we believe so strongly in the Walking With Our Sisters
initiative, we decided to create a special tea blend and to donate all the profits
from the sales to it.

Walking With Our Sisters is a commemorative art installation that had galvanized
thousands in an effort to honour missing and murdered Indigenous women of
Canada and the United States.  Over 1700 moccasin vamps (tops) have been crafted
and donated by hundreds of caring and concerned individuals and will be seen in over
30 cities throughout North America. And this is where we come in;  Walking With Our
Sisters is a non-profit initiative that is being entirely run by volunteers and on the
goodwill and donations from the public.  We'd like to help, and when you purchase
this tea you are helping as well by ensuring the profits will be donated to help
continue to fund the project.

Walking With Our Sisters seeks to bring focus to the issue of murdered and missing
Indigenous women by paying respect to their lives and existence on this earth. That
they will not be forgotten, they are sisters, mothers, daughters, cousins, grandmothers,
aunties and friends. They have been cared for, they have been loved, and they are missing.
