The Wilderness
This shaker came to me when I started my healing journey; the moose visits me many times in dreams. Then one night I was out visiting a friend who lived in a rule area. He had some other friends up visiting; we went out to dinner in this little town. On the way back to his home we were driving and this moose came out of the dark and ran along side of the truck were I sat. He was so close that I could look him in the eye, and then off he went. When we got to the house the wolves were singing to Nokomis Gizzis (Grandmother Moon).It has been many years that I had seen a moose and heard the wolves sing. I thought to myself how magnificent this sighting was and why I had all those dreams, this made me feel so humbled.
I though of how strong this animal had to be to survive the long cold winters and having the wolves never too far behind.Later, I learn that the moose being so strong and magnificent, when he visits you he is telling you to be strong for you are magnificent in you own way.MiigwechS. Oz
