Unframed This painting has colours that are representative of my home community of Eabametoong First Nations' flag. Yellow represents the sun, Green represents the grass and trees, Blue represents the sky and water and the the Red represents the Ojibwe people. Black represents the Ancestors and the future generations to come.
Red Thunderbird is special to me because my Aunt Minnie's name was Red Thunderbird woman and also, Norval Morrisseau's name is Copper Thunderbird.
