“I started painting in January 2008 after the passing of my grandfather;
in 2002 I sat with my father and grandfather in Keewaywin and Thunder Bay and
did my first painting
with them. My grandfather sketched the image and I painted the backgrounds and
my father did the lines.
I feel proud to help keep the Morrisseau family traditions and stories
alive. I have had 3 art shows with my father and one with my Grandfather Norval
Morrisseau works.”
